Static Line Skydiving

This course offers the individual an opportunity to jump from the aircraft on his or her own from an altitude of 3500 feet using an automatically opened parachute (static line). The square parachute offers better control than the older style round parachute with more accurate and softer landings. The square parachute can also be jumped in slightly higher wind conditions (15 knots instead of just 10 knots), which means you are more likely to complete your jump.

The course involves a full days training with the actual jump normally taking place the same day or the day following the training. This course has the advantage that once you have learnt the skills required for the first jump subsequent jumps are considerably cheaper.
